Auction FAQs
Auctions run on OpenSea. You must create an OpenSea account to place an auction. Our auctions are timed auctions (known as English Auctions) that sell to the highest bidder at the end of the auction date. If a bid is made in the last 10 minutes, the auction time extends an additional 10 minutes. Read more about how this works on OpenSea
Many of our auctions include utility where the auction winner will receive goods from a sponsoring partner. In some cases Natparks pre-purchases all rewards in an auction, so the reserve prices ensures we are funded to make these purchases.
If a reserve price is not met, we will do one of the following. 1) Accept the highest offer. 2) Re-list the auction at a future date. 3) Adjust the rewards and re-list the auction. 4) Donate the auction to our community and do a Giveaway to our holders
We are reserving a supply of 99 items for our team. One will be assigned to each of our team members. The rest will be reserved for either auctions, partner NFT projects, or future giveaways. We will continue Auctions as long as there is interest and as a way to continue drive partnership and exposure to our community until the supply of 99 items is ended.
Once an auction has been won, the NFT will be immediately transferred to your NFT wallet via OpenSea.
Rewards will be sent to the holder of the NFT on the last day of each calendar month. For physical rewards, the NFT holder must provide their shipping information via a support ticket in our discord. We are currently working on integration with our online store to automate this in the future.
Any perks from our NFTs that are digital (such as access to online tools, future projects, parkfriends.io, etc.) are available outside the US. Any auctions that include physical rewards can only be shipped to the USA at this time.
